Marie Curie (1867-1934) was a Polish/French physicist and chemist known for her research on radioactivity. She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize (1903 – physics); the first person to win twice (1911 – chemistry); and the only person to win a Nobel Prize for two different sciences. She developed the theory of radioactivity and discovered two elements: polonium and radium.

“Curie” is a warm sable contour.
